Psalm 17:12-14

¹² He is ^(A)like a lion that is eager to tear,
And as a young lion ^(B)lurking in hiding places.

^13 (C)Arise, O Yahweh, confront him, ^(D)bring him low;
^(E)Protect my soul from the wicked with ^(F)Your sword,
¹⁴ From men with ^(G)Your hand, O Yahweh,
From men ^[a]of the world, ^(H)whose portion is in this life,
And whose belly You ^(I)fill with Your treasure;
They are satisfied with children,
And leave their excess to their infants.
